The project fully utilizes the company's nearly 23,000-square-meter rooftop space and existing power supply infrastructure, with an installed capacity of 1.814 MWp and an energy storage system rated at 200 kW/458 kWh. Through rigorous on-site surveys and scientific planning, it operates under a 'self-consumption with surplus feed-in' model, ensuring efficient utilization of green energy.
Photovoltaic (PV) power generation is a technology that directly converts solar energy into electricity through the photovoltaic effect at semiconductor interfaces. In contrast to conventional fossil fuel-based power systems, PV generation offers zero emissions, pollution-free operation, and renewable characteristics. With geographical flexibility enabling deployment on building rooftops and other surfaces, it represents an energy-efficient and eco-friendly electricity production method.
The project is designed to generate approximately 40.4 million kWh of electricity over its 25-year operational lifespan. With an initial annual output of 1.73 million kWh from the photovoltaic plant and an average yearly generation of 1.62 million kWh, it is projected to save around 273 metric tons of standard coal equivalent (SCE) and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 729.9 metric tons annually, achieving synergistic economic and environmental benefits.
Moving forward, Pearl Electric will deepen its focus on carbon footprint management across the entire lifecycle - from origin, conversion, utilization to disposal - while implementing digital transformation and process reengineering in manufacturing operations. These strategic initiatives aim to optimize energy and resource efficiency, progressively advancing toward the construction of smart industrial parks and zero-carbon factories.
