Appraisal Meeting Held Successfully in Pearl Electric

The appraisal meeting for scientific and technological achievements for the project of "the R&D and Industrialization of High-efficiency Heat Dissipation Internal Water Cooling Dry-type Transformer" was held successfully recently in Pearl Electric.

Through questioning and discussion, the Appraisal Committee agreed that the overall technical level of the project products is at the international advanced level, and the design method, structure and process of the water-cooled dry-type transformer are at the international advanced level, and agreed to pass the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements.

Through the research on the comprehensive relationship among temperature rise, loss, flow, pressure drop, pipe diameter and pipe length of each winding branch, a new water self-balancing calculation method is proposed; Through the research of water circuit insulation performance, a completely-new water circulation system is designed, which effectively solves the key technical problems of external insulation performance and external partial discharge; Based on the structural characteristics of water-cooled dry-type transformer winding, the casting process is studied to avoid winding cracking and resin leakage.

Compared with similar technologies at home and abroad, the technical achievements of the Project have more advantages, breaking the monopoly of foreign technologies, successfully solving the problem of "neck tightening" of relevant foreign equipment, and further enhancing the innovation ability and technical strength of Pearl Electric.

During the implementation of the Project, 4 invention patents have been applied, 2 invention patents and 5 utility model patents have been authorized, and 3 technical papers have been published in Transformer magazine successively, with independent intellectual property rights and strong innovation. Compared with similar technologies at home and abroad, the technical achievements of the Project have more advantages, breaking the monopoly of foreign technologies, successfully solving the problem of "neck tightening" of relevant foreign equipment, and further enhancing the innovation ability and technical strength of Pearl Electric.
